The Estate is pleased to provide a brief historical background on the origins of the structure that welcomes you as welcome guests. This Farmhouse is registered with the Municipality of Cavriglia as "Colonica La Valle" and takes its name directly from the place where it is located; called precisely "Valle di Sopra." La Valle was established as far back as 1730 and, probably, given its dominant position, it is inferred to have been a "Padronale" farmhouse, built and inhabited by the owners of the land. The structure over the centuries has undergone various structural changes, which have resurfaced in the recent conservative restoration.
